Eligibility

The CCBA certification eligibility is extended to individuals with some knowledge of business analysis and ideal for business professionals aspiring to become business analysts.
 

Pre-requisites

For the CCBA certification:
You need to have at least 3750 hours of business analysis work experience aligned with the BABOK Guide in the last seven years (of which a minimum of 900 hours is in two of the six knowledge areas OR 500 hours is in four of the six knowledge areas).
You also need to have 21 hours of professional development in the past four years and two references from a career manager, client, or CBAP recipient.

What is CCBA®?
The Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) is the accreditation given by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) to candidates who have successfully completed the examination based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK Guide Version 3).
 
What is the CCBA certification process?

If your course has simulation exams you will need to complete it with the minimum passing score.

Can I refer to any other resources or reference documents for the concepts other than BABOK Guide?
The BABOK Guide is the ideal resource and provides most of the reference material. We also recommend Intelligence Gateway’s CCBA Certification course materials which are highly focused on the exam.
 
Where can I access the practice exams? Does the IIBA provide practice tests?
