Finding a product on Amazon with high sales but few reviews, purchasing it, and labelling it as if it were yours is what Amazon Private Label is all about. Essentially, you’ll strive to improve the presentation of that original existing goods by establishing your own brand. (We’ll go over the advantages of this method later.)
When you use retail arbitrage, you go to stores looking for things at a deep discount, buy them, look up the original price, and then sell them on Amazon for a profit. In the long run, this technique can become extremely inconvenient because you must continuously go out looking for bargains.
Going to multiple manufacturers, purchasing their goods at a wholesale price, then reselling it on Amazon for the usual retail price is what wholesale is all about. The only disadvantage is that it is becoming increasingly saturated. Because there are so many manufacturers creating extremely similar products, some would prefer sell them on Amazon themselves. You’ll also find a lot of established sellers with a good reputation who will be difficult to outrank.
Making your own product necessitates a little extra work on your part. However, by doing so, you will increase your chances of sticking out from the crowd and generating more sales.
